Bon Voyage
Doug and I have traveled more this summer than we have in a long time but until now it hasn't been at the same time. We finally got away on a trip we planned almost 200 days ago, together. We took a New England cruise starting in New York and ending in Quebec City, Canada. It was a fabulous journey and one we will cherish. Since I have fallen down on my blogging I have just posted the pictures from each day, the date, and the location. (Some have a few comments, you know I just can't keep from adding my two cents worth.) September 25, 2018-Des Moines to New York Rain greeted us in New York, not a promising start but it was clear by the time we set sail that evening. September 26, 2018-Newort, Rhode Island Since the ship was so large it wasn't possible for us to pull all the way into the port. When this happens we have to tender into port by way of the ship's lifeboats. It can get a little rocky.
